Ive had experience commuting through both for a variety of reasons so i feel comfortable speaking as a commuter from edv and dl. One guy in eight years of commuting wouldnt take the jumpseat was very open about it, for the last year before retirement he said he would not take an FA jumpseat again. Hes retired now. When i worked at edv there were more pilots than i can possibly count or remember who took FA jumpseats to get me on, or would say "no put him on ive got a later show". One guy, now retired out of more than 100. Say there two. Still below 5%. Dont make a mistake letting a couple bad experiences color your picture of these pilots.
