I left active duty with roughly 2500 RW hours and basically ATP mins (primary flight school plus 100+ hours in a rented Seminole). After 18 months and 800-ish hours at a regional I was invited to Vets in Blue. Got the interview invite shortly after that. I’ve yet to meet a pure helo type at B6 that hasn’t done at least some time at a regional.
