That's true, however the point is CRJ bottom line holder is a 2016 hire, and will continue to drop, while ERJ bottom line holder is 2014 hire, and will likely stay there awhile.

If he wants to get time, build his resume, and be able to have a better lifestyle and base flexibility, the CRJ, in my opinion, is where it's at for a new hire. Sure the lines might be a bit better on the ERJ, but that's meaningless if you can't hold them.

There are lots of variables, I know, but looking back I can say from experience staying on the CRJ in the long run would have been a better choice, fly more, upgrade faster, get more PIC time, faster, and move on.

Anyway, it sort of seems like he came here knowing the answer and was looking to justify his desire to go ERJ. If someone for whatever reason wants to fly the ERJ, no harm in that, but for the reasons I stated, CRJ is the way to go.
