Bad advice. One should be prepared, especially if they've been hired in the last couple of years. I wish someone had given me the advice to plan ahead prior to either of my two furloughs. I was given the 'don't worry; the union's got your back' answer which was real bad advice.
And frankly, fadec is asking a really, really smart question.
