While you may be technically correct that the airport wasn't "closed," every aircraft inbound to LAS at that point was not going to LAS anymore.
When you hit your 45 minute reserve fuel, declare emergency fuel and land at LAS anyway. Or, just add 5k no matter what. [emoji849]
