Yes, it has happened quite a bit recently. Typically the CA and I would start waving aggressively, staring across to hopefully see the other crew reciprocating. Instead we are met with a stare. Usually followed by us commenting obscenities and talking about how our day has been ruined.

I do still get the occasional FO who doesn’t use social media/is not on these forums and so is unaware of the Double Wave. Teaching moment!
