I am not arguing for less, concessions are off the table, period. However, if you are getting paid to NOT work, normally you get paid 0 hours (termination, furlough, quitting). If people don't WANT to work, they don't have to now, and get 45 hours, 2/3 of their normal pay (and keep their benefits) to not work. If they WANT more, then guess what, they don't volunteer, and have the same playing field they have every other month of the year (minus the fact that open time and the bids will probably be depressing). Nothing was given up, no one took less, it just opened up opportunities for a small fraction of the pilot group interested in this sort of arrangement.

Why don't we all just demand 100 PCH a month to sit at home and not fly and see where we end up... It will be a lot less than 45 PCH.
