You might want to talk to someone who was furloughed after 9/11. Like me. We had a no furlough clause in our contract. The union dropped its grievance before there was a hearing.
Like I've stated in another post - UALALPA has a history in the last two decades of pulling up the ladder because the senior guys got theirs.
So the question to ask is: how does the top of the seniority list benefit from ensuring furlough pay?
