Nixon opened with china. Clintons fingerprints were on WTO entry. And Bush handled the china MFNTS.
There is plenty of responsibility to go around for the disastrous situation our nation faces.
Imho a large part of the china engagement and economic surrender was driven by the need to find new buyers of US debt.
The power structure will preserve itself....even if it leads to national ruin. And this is exactly what potus after potus and congress after congress has done for the last 3 decades.
