For those complaining and fearful of what is to come, all I can add is this; no one knows for sure.

Your ALPA representatives will not give up anything unnecessarily. Yes it is hard to sit here and wait, however no one really knows what the world will soon look like, not the President, your Governor, or all those health experts who have led us to shut everything down and live in fear.

What all of us do know is at this time next year things will look different.

So, yes be prepared for a very large reduction in the needs for pilots this fall, and then be thankful if it doesn't happen.

Having been furloughed I can tell you it is both a curse and a blessing. The curse is everyone knows you will return to flying, given the chance, and the blessing is you have a seniority number for recall.
