While these guys have a point, it's not all doom and gloom. I can only go by what the hiring department's past actions have been. AA might have its warts, but the hiring department is top notch, and these people (and the company) have been about as honorable and respectful as possible to those with CJO's. Whereas United rescinded class dates 3 days prior to classing up, AA said to its upcoming class "we might not have a class date for you, but we will bring you on property, get you a seniority number, and make sure you and your family have healthcare and other benefits." These actions would indicate to me that although no one knows what the future holds, they will be as considerate to those with CJO's as they have been with everyone else.
