In all seriousness, this is a good bulletin board to be on if you want to educate yourself about your career aspirations and get advice from people who have been there and done that. But, just as a side note, I would suggest you also become a member and active participant on AOPA's forums (must be an AOPA member though -- http://forums.aopa.org), which are entirely focused on GA flying. Some old GA guys on there have the attitude that airlines are evil and young instructors are only in it to take advantage of the free time to get them to a regional (so don't go blabbing about wanting an airline career or you'll be flamed). But, like this forum, there's also a lot of good information shared on there that will help you through your ratings and offer a broader perspective on different types of flying. They helped me tremendously through my progression of certificates and ratings. Good luck!
