So why do they have the A1 window in the bid packet? Somebody has to bid A1, which is 0001-1400. The ferry flight was on my line before 11 p.m the night prior. It showed a 4 a.m. departure. We were done by 6 a.m. where we ferried the plane to, headed to the hotel and sat sat around for the rest of the day until we deadheaded back to CVG the next morning. Good use of a reservist

I love commuting to work for 8-10 hrs. to ferry a plane and then sit all day to DH back the next morning and go home. Very productive

That hasn't happend to me, yet. I was surpised we got fueld, stocked and de-iced in a reasonable time at 4 a.m. in the morning. I love operating out of CVG, our ramp guys do an outstanding job!
