Wish I could. I got the medical boot from active duty a couple years ago (three months short of my commitment...), and my condition has since improved dramatically. I went to a few reserve/guard recruiters to see if I could apply for a waiver and rejoin, but apparently once you get medically separated, you are permanently barred from service. Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me, but I don’t make the rules.

I was in the Air Force Reserves for the last recession and it really saved my butt. I switched to the Army NG over 7 years ago and its really helping out a lot these days.
I just hope all the other guys that left active duty for airlines got some sort of information about it. Always good to have something to fall back on in this industry.
