I’m trying to pick up OT during the 48 RF window and QT usually calculated this for me. Further, what is this 30 hour rest time I keep hearing about and where in the contract can I find it? I’ve heard i need 30 hours rest before and after an OT trip. Is this true? If so where can i find the contract reference? I browsed through chapter 11 but can’t seem to find it! Thanks guys! : )
The 30 hours rest is from FAR 117. It’s not contractual. You don’t need 30 hours prior to or following your OT. You just need to show that the OT you’re picking up won’t put you in violation of the FAR.
