True on your first statement, but I'm not so sure on the second.
Some business (I suspect a higher number than we'd like to believe) are going to go under simply because with already thin profit margins before this pandemic, they simply won't be able to stay afloat when things open up, as consuner spending just won't ramp up to a level quick enough for them to maintain solvency.
So if they do recall their employees, they just might have to let them go again when they meet this reality - a Secondary Stall if you will.
Recession is inevitable, if we are not already in it, and we will not be able to escape its effects... Without getting into a debate about whether or not we should've, you don't just shut down the world's largest economy for a few months and think it'll start up back again without some serious collateral damages.
I hope I'm wrong, but I think this is gonna hurt like a modder***!
