Yeah, if you want to stay out west it would probably be wise to instruct for a few months and go to Skywest, Horizon, Eagle or maybe ASA/Comair (don't remember which is in SLC) than subjecting yourself to Mesa. The DEN base for Republic is extremely senior.

I find it odd that you list three, one of which is Mesa, and the other two are exclusively East Coast operations.
