Again, I was referencing what scope is as a negotiating currency vs the identity of a labor union and collective bargaining group.

If as the poster stated, a judge could and would strip United Alpa pilots of their negotiated scope protections such as max fleet count, max seats, max range, city parings, then he could in fact, strip them of their identity as organized union labor United pilots in service of United Airlines.

Allowing Scot Kirby to hire a company such as Mesa to fly United passengers in a large aircraft such as a 737 saving thousands over using United pilots would accomplish many goals of BK.

If a judge can and will manipulate scope as easily as he suggest, then what limits are "off limits".
