Not so fast, Bush Sr. and Clinton were falling all over themselves proclaiming the wonders of NAFTA during the 92 campaign. The only candidate that was against it was PEROT. Remember him and the "giant sucking sound"? Both the Dems and the Republicans put out all kinds of crap calling Perot a nut and claiming he was the one who did not understand NAFTA.
