No. The whole doctor's note was grieved and went before a judge. You have to supply a note. You also have health care coverage so any out of pocket expenses are not going to be covered. Guys abused sick leave and thats why things are the way they are now. A pilot in Anchorage abused the jury duty, basically he volunteered for duty, and we got a crap deal on jury duty now. Thank your fellow pilots who can't seem to follow the rules. Just like guys now think they can leave the hotels in Japan to hit the 7-11.
