Doctor's note?

Or just tell your FC, or one of the company docs, why you weren’t fit to fly.
Use a lot of your sick leave, or frequently call in sick close to show, or always sick the last 4 R days of the month...and you might get asked.

Points based system:
Normal sick call is 2-3 points and stays on for 1 year
Sick @ holiday is 4 points and stays 18 months
Training event is 5 points and stays 2 yearsPoint total from all sick events is a rolling date system
14 points triggers a sick note
18 points is a call from Fleet Captain

It is definitely a points based system, however, some things might change the number of points assigned. Now when a doctors note is required, you go through the insite system and have a “conversation” with both company medical and management, though I doubt management gets much into the conversation. You submit your note to company medical, they ignore it for a week until you repetitively send them messages asking if they got it, and then if they decide it’s adequate, they assign you one point for the sick event. At last that’s my understanding. Don’t know how many points (if any) is assigned to a Covid event.
