Or just tell your FC, or one of the company docs, why you weren’t fit to fly.
Use a lot of your sick leave, or frequently call in sick close to show, or always sick the last 4 R days of the month...and you might get asked.

Here's what was passed on to me.
Points based system:
Normal sick call is 2-3 points and stays on for 1 year
Sick @ holiday is 4 points and stays 18 months
Training event is 5 points and stays 2 yearsPoint total from all sick events is a rolling date system
14 points triggers a sick note
18 points is a call from Fleet Captain
22 points is NOQ and company mandated wellness check & psych eval
Points based system:

“Punish” maybe. But they sure can withhold pay if you don’t provide a descriptive doctors note. I’ve been asked for 3; all of which disprove the number system.
