Exactly. There are many other similar antibody therapies that are in far more advanced stages of testing, such as the one by Distributed Bio.
As far as other types of therapies are concerned, one of the most promising out there is Leronlimab. It’s currently going through placebo-controlled trials at top university hospitals such as UCLA and we should start seeing some results in the upcoming weeks. It was originally designed as an HIV drug, but it has shown some excellent results treating COVID patients in preliminary testing.
