I have kids that will be furloughed. While there is time to prepare, I would rather they get punched in the forehead as opposed to being coddled regarding "tone". "Suggestions" usually fall on deaf ears when a shiznit sandwich needs to be eaten.

Yes, they are all adults, but a lot of new ex-military(fighter guys) don't have a great wealth of experience regarding commercial aviation. Yes, they have heard the stories, but they have not lived it nor internalized it.

OBTW....I did not read the council newsletter so I don't actually know how agregious it was.
