Bait pilots with a bonus when you need them then shaft them when it suits you and AW wants loyalty or people to sell their souls? And sorry to the union guys, you don’t represent our interests making LOAs without speaking to the pilot group. A union is a mere formality in today’s world.

To put it plainly this was downright wrong and just shows the company cares more about itself than its employees a la classic corporate America.

Now let’s wait for the diehards to crap on us who are ****ed off with this.
Couldn't agree with you more. Everyone understands that it's a tough time for Air Wis, pilots, FA, etc.. But to take the bonus without a discussion of "What can we do to help you in return?" may show some true colors. The majority of us have been displaced and/or put on short call next month. Finding a way to convert short call to long call or give us PTO (they don't need us to work anyways) would be a start to an apology.

There's lots of things Air Wis can give the pilot group that cost the company nothing. But instead, they're unilaterally taking what is owed to us, and not giving anything in return.
