Something doesn’t seem right about the latest vacancy results.... again.
There’s guys with 27xxx numbers getting displaced from ORD FO to MKE FO and meanwhile there are 28xxx guys going from ORD and MKE RSV FO to an ORD line holder.
Unless all those guys bid for mke instead of ord suddenly it doesn’t make sense.
If you are getting displaced take a look at other seniority numbers and inquire with your union reps.

it’s a 2 pronged displacement, it has most of the captains going to line holder FO for July while not removing any of the current line holding FO slots, then in August once the training is done they reduce the FO lines drastically. There are a few of the ORD FOs that are having to go to MKE to hold a line due to the downgrading captains that are mke RC becoming ORD FO which is bumping some of the junior ORD FOs to MKE. It seems odd but it’s due to most of the downgrades that couldn’t hold ord as captain being able to hold it as FO. Come August the Guys that moved to MKE for July FO will be back in ORD as RF

if you look at flica for the award and click all it makes sense. There are no mke RF above fo, no ord RF above fo. There are a few numbers that don’t make sense but they are people that returned after separation or airmen trainiees who have a seniority number senior to their actual seniority

Seniority numbers don’t equate actual seniority anymore. This is mostly due to airmen trainees. I’ve flown with people that have lower numbers than I do that started Indoc 2 years after I was flying the line.

What I’m having trouble understanding is that in the CSS award PDF, I’m listed as going from ORD RC to ORD FO. Cool, I held a line I thought...I open up FLICA later and see I’m actually ORD RF...what happened?
Secondly, anyone have a gouge as to how pay reductions will go? Settle in, here goes my long question. I was awarded Captain, got through training / etc, but took a while to get OE, so my pay started 30 days after the award...the companies way of making sure people succeed in upgrade training before paying them CA money (a sore spot, but bigger fish to fry). Likewise, not all 180 Captains who got downgraded will immediately be right seat qualified on July 1st. CPT / Sims / etc still have to e scheduled and completed. Per the contract, rate of pay doesn’t start until completion of IOE (if required) or first day operating the jet in the awarded seat (or displaced seat in this case). How much do we want to bet the company will try and start paying all 180 of us as FO’s come July 1st, instead of the delay the company capitalized on when we upgrade. My point is there should be a bit of time after July 1st where downgraded Captains should still be getting paid as such because of the training delay. Or am I misinterpreting something here?

Two effective dates in the realignment . So your position may be different 7/1 vs 8/1.
Essentially they are letting the number of FO line holders swell temporarily while they get the downgrades through right seat re-qualification course.
Then once that is complete they shove all the now redundant FOs back to RSV to prepare for furloughs when the government money protections run out 10/1.

I saw a few peoples names listed twice in the CSS PDF so I'd double check to see that you weren't displaced twice within this window.
