Finding a way to convert short call to long call or give us PTO (they don't need us to work anyways) would be a start to an apology.

There's lots of things Air Wis can give the pilot group that cost the company nothing. But instead, they're unilaterally taking what is owed to us, and not giving anything in return.
the way I see it, they don’t “owe” us anything and we are simply a means of income for them and they give us a job ie you scratch my back and I scratch yours. They know we’ll walk as soon as we land a better job (personally I wanted to stay with the company and instruct).

That being said, I get things are hard right now but this stunt is going to lead to an exodus of pilots when companies start hiring again.

no such thing as a “good company”...the people make a good company and when you shaft the people you shaft the company. Of course the company probably doesn’t care because of their whole “we’ve weathered all storms” and that attitude creates arrogance and when that happens the cookie crumbles.

if they do survive good for them, all I know is they’ve proven that we are expendable and this is just a job. If they let us go they know there’s plenty of goats out there who’ll run to them for a job.
