As far as the Reserves go, you mentioned the 340 FTG. Did you interview at Randolph or with the other UPT bases? I was recently hired to T-38s at CBM, and my understanding was that most of the other bases and aircraft had openings available. I'm sure you've probably covered all the bases, so my apologies if that's the case.
