I am 2 years retired now including some time at FE but enjoy reading through these debates. The growth at FE was nothing short of amazing. They had a fantastic Chief Pilot there who I heard moved on to being the Gulfstream Fleet Manager. I see more flights being added in both the 121 and 135 worlds. I think the worst is behind us. Unfortunately for the airline guys there will be big furloughs on Oct 1 due to the fed funding agreements.

As for some folks getting terminated let me just say that one of those was the most disagreeable pilot I ever came across in my 45 year aviation career. Sounds like they pruned some dead wood to me.
