If so, why did UCH just complete a 5000 pilot surplus that cleared close to 4000 pilots from their "needed" roster? There is already substantial action already in place implementing their training plan. They REALLY are implementing it. Will it go that far? Demand will determine that. Pilot concessions won't.
It seems fairly evident that pilots are included in this Scott Kirby quote:
"We are hopeful at United that we can work with our unions to variablize our pay structure and frankly, not lay anyone off, not furlough any of our frontline employees,"
