Makes sense. I have met some senior 88 As who loved the airplane and the route profiles - not interested in transcon flying. Obviously everyone has their own preference. Just assume that someone who enjoys that type of airplane might want to stick to the smaller MD or Boeing vs bidding something a bit different like the Airbus.
