What if the 777, DTW, MSP, and SLC 7ER closures is just a head fake to get the senior Captains to bite on an ERP? They publish the results, then offer an ERP. After a few hundred of them take the ERP to avoid commuting or training on the A350, and then in a few weeks they cancel the bid and do an AE that’s much more palatable. Would the timeline be too tight to pull that all off?
Forget which of the many Co. memo’s it was in, but I recall that the 7ER closures weren’t going to be until 2Q 21’(?) so lots of time to walk that back in a 365’
