What they don’t know is that pilots are better at their game, because they try to get us screwed daily. Time to ALPA get some pressure on them for a better early retirement and QOL gains. BTW, they told them every 777 guy displaced will be around 17 training events. Company decided to add a bunch of displacement, not our fault.

JL said in one of the town halls that in a perfect world a ER would come before the bid, but it was al driven to the fleet plan. They played the game and it seems that they might be losing the bet. Guys won’t move bases for the plane and money, they will leave at home even if it means less money.

We (pilots), are greedy in our own terms. I’m sure they though that with the amount of GS we were making, we can’t live with less money. I’m sure
most guys plan to live with 72hrs/month, everything else is extra gravy.

oh well, it’s all based on a rumor, but if is true, there’s no other way than retain pilots, less UNAs and furloughs. The jr guys are flying the NB and keeping the company a float, if they want to get senior pilots to do it, will cost more.
