When they called me about 7 mos ago it was about 10-20 mins long and they just asked some HR questions, verified some info on my application, asked about glass flying and other types of flying I had done and then invited me in for an interview towards the end. As long as you are articulate enough to not sound stupid over the phone they will probably invite you in for an interview. I never went in for the interview, got a job with another carrier before the scheduled interview with ASA, but I hear that is a two day process with HR/Sim evals in Atlanta.
