When they called me about 7 mos ago it was about 10-20 mins long and they just asked some HR questions, verified some info on my application, asked about glass flying and other types of flying I had done and then invited me in for an interview towards the end. As long as you are articulate enough to not sound stupid over the phone they will probably invite you in for an interview. I never went in for the interview, got a job with another carrier before the scheduled interview with ASA, but I hear that is a two day process with HR/Sim evals in Atlanta. Good luck, buy a new suit and have fun!

Had the phone interview Monday or Tuesday of this week.

Lasted all of 10 mins. The usual HR questions.

Applied to any other airlines?
Why ASA?
Any traffic violations?
Convicted of a felony/misdemeanor?
How much time do you have in the past 6 months?
How much glass experience do you have?
How much ME time do you have?
Are you a flight instructor?
Are you currently employed as a professional pilot in any capacity? If yes, what is that capacity?
When, if offered a position, would you first be available? They are looking for you to have the decency to at least say two weeks after the job offer is extended (the whole two week notice deal).

Along those lines.

The same HR intern called me again today to let me know that the HR interview and my resume was reviewed and that they are mailing me the application packet to fill out and send back in.

Had a buddy walk my resume in on Monday 1/28, got a call back about 15 minutes after he handed it in requesting me fill out the online app, couldn't pick up the call b/c I was in the air.

Any clue on how long until they call back?
