All snarky-ness aside, it’s not a lack of info that I possess, or a belief that Mr. Kirby, et al are my buddies.... I just see this issue differently than you. A common human fallacy is that “if only the person knew what I do, they’d think as I do.” Just not the case man. We have different views on this topic, but it’s not because I wasn’t affected.
Well, with all of your worldly experience in this business, you should be able to figure out what could happen during shoulder months (Sep, Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr) if this were to be implemented. I know what I'd do if I were management.
