The Luggageworks is also not the indestructible beast I assumed it to be. Not only did it require damn near daily tightening of every screw on it, the heavy frame on the bottom cracked during handling after I had to check it! That repair wasn't cheap, and was the last one I did to it before selling it.
Had the LW steel bag. Expensive, overweight, rusty around the axles, and needed liberal amounts of loctite to hold itself together. Bearings rusted onto the axle, couldn’t remove the wheels. The metal itself on the outside cracked around the axle, rather than giving where the wheel is.
Replaced it with their plastic frame version and it’s way better. (Non commuter).
