And everyone who wants to voluntarily work less to save the company cash can use these current provisions:
1) Take COLA/E-COLA (incl. every other month or partial month COLA).
2) Bid minimum credit and/or drop trips (plenty of reserve coverage now).
3) Take SRL, though this doesn’t save as much.
If you’re not actively participating in these options, you have no business pushing reductions on others. I have been reducing my hours regularly for years...following our current contract.
