If the union has "known" why can't the company decide on a bid? Seems like no one "knows" for certain. Could the union come out and say the bottom 20% should plan on a furlough? I suppose, but then it sounds like an educated guess without actually "knowing". I don't blame the union at all. It's not like they are withholding a formal pilot reduction notification from the pilots. Am I missing something?
Bottom 8% get looking, 8-12.5% there is a 90% chance you will not have a job, come October 1st. 12-15%, you are on hot alert. That is honestly, that is transparency. They have known it for more then 75 days.
