The contract 23-J-4 does mention out of seniority downgrades. 16-A says the seniority list is primary unless otherwise noted. 23-D-4 covers voluntary displacements - hence why you have a voluntary option in your standing bid. You can bid to be voluntarily displaced to FO. After the voluntary displacements - then the displacements occur in reverse seniority order. So if a displacement bid is announced your standing bid is paramount. This is all premature but a good research exercise. We have no idea about furloughs or displacements and the "rumor" of 100 CA displacements is just that - an unsubstantiated rumor.
