I live in Fort Walton Beach and commute out of VPS direct to IAH. I usually always get on my own metal (ExpressJet) but can use American as a 2-leg backup which I have only used once or twice. During non-covid and 4 flights a day to IAH it was fairly easy. I never went out of PNS (about a 45 min to hour drive) or ECP (about 30-45 min) depending on traffic. I have had to recently and only once fly into MOB then rent a one-way car to VPS. All in all, I think it’s fairly easy with covid reduced lines making it a little more challenging.
