I was home by the second weekend, so yes, I was able to go home on the weekends.

The area near the hotel is horrible. I would make friends with someone with a car, or just bring yours if you can. There's a few places to eat within about a ten minute walk, but I was there in the summer. Might be kind of cold this time of year. You can scam some free oatmeal and ramen from FlightSafety across the street, though. And if you're lucky enough to be in the Comfort Suites, you can have breakfast there and then you're set.

In my case, direct deposit was set up within two weeks, I think.
