I was just wondering if you are allowed to moonlight part 135 while waiting for sim and IOE. Seems like there can be quite a wait and since you're not flying anyway, duty and flight times should not conflict.

I've done some extensive digging on this subject for my own reasons. The answer is basically no, unless of course, you have permission from a CP, which they will not give you. Flight instructing is fine, but 135 is a no go at XJ.
