Ok, well this is my first post! I have an interview on Wednesday with Mesaba. Besides reading the gauges and all, anyone have any advice for me? Anyone have an idea on what class date I might possibly get down the road if I get hired? Also, I have been hearing strong rumors that Mesaba is almost to the point of closing its doors in the hiring department. A few freinds of mine have already been turned down from Mesaba, so I am wondering if I might be at the tail end of the hiring spree? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

We've got another couple hundred pilots to hire before we even get close to "shutting the doors". Beyond that, there should be plenty of attrition due to the flow through (god willing) with NWA and almost all of the other majors hiring. You have missed the front half of the hiring wave here at XJ, but there are still plenty of opportunities for newbies. Good luck on the interview!
