If they do indeed furlough 2558 pilots, yes, that will be the biggest number Delta ever furloughed. It’s in the neighborhood of 20% of total pilots. If we do furlough though, I don’t see us getting anywhere close to that number.
Absent contractual relief such as decreasing ALV and TLV, I think we'll furlough all 2,558 of those pilots. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see how the company can profitably pay them to sit around and do nothing. I haven't touched an airplane in 3 and a half months. I don't have any secret PBS strategies. We've reduced our flying that much.
