I understand that Ual took it in the shorts worse than almost anybody during the lost decade, but sometimes it sounds like (the collective) you think that nobody else was watching/affected. I think it’s worth having a little faith that most of the non-military pilots on the list are keenly aware that promises made by management (give us X for Y) are worth almost nothing.

Secondly, why in the world the need for the condescendinrg tone? It does not make you sound any smarter or make your points any better. I do it plenty, and when I reread my posts it feels a bit juvenile. YMMV
