I think its coming.... Look at the lost decade....and now this....big pilot excess.....lotsa people out of work....so they go back to their real job. Its a big slow wave that is too slow for us mere mortals to percieve. And when its here its too late.
Just like all those FOMO “career changers” that quit their jobs and ran to flight school over the past few years and are hitting the street/stuck being a flight instructor for the foreseeable future, you will be disappointed if you expect unheard of career progression and wide body FO in five years or whatever. This industry is too unstable and will always be.
