Deaths lag infections, this is a fact. There are new hotspots in Florida, Texas, California and others. You need to take a look at the breakdown per county, or at the very least per state to get a better idea of what is going on. You'll see that cases are dramatically increasing in these areas, and in a few weeks deaths will be as well.

This is a serious illness, and it's time to stop denying it. The sooner people do what is necessary (wearing masks, social distancing, quarantine.) the sooner this will be over and we can return to normal life. It's time to take this seriously and stop denying it for dumbass political reasons.
Some stats from Texas. Republican governor, friend of Trump. Trump has been to the state numerous times to dinners, fund raising, etc. Texas has every reason to "spin" this in his favor. And with that said, the numbers do not lie.
