Boutique isn’t a career operator they know they are a stepping stone employer. They even rolled their CA pay back to $35K/year. That’s not something a company does to retain pilots long term.
6mo go aviation was a min requirement job market, it’s not any longer and won’t be again for a few years.
Sure the small mom and pop charter 135’s won’t touch the airline guys, for fear they will leave. But the bigger operators, want the more experienced pilots.

If there were two pilots, both 2.5k hours and all the other experience they're looking for, and one has 121 experience, who are they going to hire? Not the one with the 121 experience. They're most likely looking at Boutique because they're without a 121 position for whatever reason at the moment and probably looking to go back. Boutique knows when they hire someone with lower time that the person is building experience for probably 121. That's a given. But to hire someone with it already, and they are already past time building time, they will take the one that has the same experience without the 121 experience. They already have the hours to go to 121 and haven't. They're more likely to stay.
