My interaction with NC and other union leadership team members has largely led me to believe that they feel much more committed to not releasing written info that they aren’t supposed to release because of the broad parameters of NDAs and concern about hurting the union/pilot negotiating position (but there is also some laziness). Rumors alone won’t necessarily get an individual and union in court on the short end of litigation, but some released info on the margins of NDA guidelines plus rumors might lead to actual legal problems. Oh, and they lose perspective about how interested and in the dark the rest of union membership is.
