What specifically has you troubled my son? Spell it out for your old dad, slowly....and speak up, I have trouble with my hearing
There was a requirement to hold a bid to send out WARN notices?
What has me troubled, and many others, is the company has made a decision to inflict as much pain as possible to gain leverage. The MOAD should have been the second to last step, not the first. Furloughs are coming either way. That is the difference between us and SW. How we got there is the problem. We could have worked together to come up with many options like the union suggested in the email, and still require to furlough. At least it could have been said “
But we’re committed to exhausting every option possible and harnessing our creativity before we consider involuntary separations.” If only that were true.
